What might advanced dancers get from our Aerial classes?

Dive into opportunities to blend your kinesthetic awareness with technical knowledge and you will find yourself moving with greater ease when in the air, on the studio floor, or walking down the street. Improvisational structures provide guidance for explorations while also allowing options to explore your own movement expression. Aerial Dance skills are integrated with meditative imagery, hands-on partnering work, and informal discussions that allow students to learn from one another and explore in a myriad of ways.

What might Beginners get from our Aerial classes?

Tap into your inner self and improve your kinesthetic awareness with our meditative and improvisational approach to Aerial Dance. Learn basic hangs for low-flying trapeze and how to improvise your own dance within set perimeters. Technical clues are given for basic skills about flying, floating, and laying out in space and these  clues allow you to dance with a sense of ease and delight.

Introduce yourself to (or refresh) your somatic skills with basic low-flying trapeze moves. Classes begin with our somatic warm-up and explore basic moves within improvisational frameworks with low-flying trapeze.
